In collaboration with the HKU, I have been invited to showcase my art installation "Geruisloos Nabeeld" during the group exhibition "Do We Care?" at Castle Nijenhuis of Museum de Fundatie. In this exhibition, I, along with 27 alumni, teachers, and students from the Utrecht University of the Arts (HKU), have delved into what the theme "Care" means to us. Because the word "care" can have various meanings: to take care of, to provide for, and to care for, to cherish. Care can arise from affection, but care can also be a survival strategy, a political instrument, or a way of working. And culture is also a form of care; we collectively care for our books, films, and artworks. With my art installation 'Geruisloos Nabeeld', I shed light on my perspective on the theme "Care".

In samenwerking met de HKU ben ik gevraagd om mijn kunstinstallatie te tonen tijdens de groepstentoonstelling "Do We Care?" in kasteel Nijenhuis van Museum de Fundatie. In deze tentoonstelling ben ik samen met 27 alumni, docenten en studenten van Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) in gegaan op wat voor ons het thema "Care" betekend. Want het woord care kan verschillende betekenissen hebben: to take care of, ergens voor zorgen, en to care for, ergens om geven. Care kan vanuit genegenheid ontstaan, maar care kan ook een overlevingsstrategie zijn, een politiek instrument of een manier van werken. En ook cultuur is een manier van care; we dragen samen zorg voor onze boeken, films en kunstwerken.
Met mijn kunstinstallatie 'Geruisloos Nabeeld' belicht ik mijn kant op het thema "Care".
